Kosmos: Soundtracks of Eastern Germany's Adventures in Space
Karl-Ernst Sasse, Günther Fischer & others

For those who are into that Raumpatroulle sound, this one?s got it. A collection of East German sci-fi soundtracks from the ’60s and ’70s (do we really need to say anything else?), Kosmos is an unexpected treat for those of us who have become jaded fucks who thought we'd heard it all when it comes to this kind of thing. Sometimes there are things that make me really jealous... this one's so good it's hard to even listen to. Shit, maybe the Germans were the master race...

Got this a few years back, so I'm not sure about current availability. The CD booklet is great. Everything about this thing is, but then not everyone seems to get as excited as I do about this crap. Let's just say it's neck and neck with Raumpatroulle so that those who've seen the light will know what to do next.
